Sementara

Here’s where I’m currently standing.

I’ve been reading a book called Amba written by Laksmi Pamuntjak. For the past 2 months I’ve already read five books incorporating a specific historical setting of the infamous 1965 event. It was depressing, really, that sometimes I even relived those storylines within my sleep, as a nightmare, obviously.

I’m recently in love with a song titled Sementara by Float. The lyrics successfully touched my soul.

“Sementara, teduhlah hatiku
Tidak lagi jauh
Belum saatnya kau jatuh
Sementara, ingat lagi mimpi
Juga janji-janji
Jangan kau ingkari lagi”

I’ve also been applying jobs here and there. Got a few calls. Attended several interviews. Some went horrendously. Some others went okay. In the mean time, I really am still searching.

A few people from the past surprisingly made a reoccurrence in my present life. It was honestly refreshing to have a few familiar faces in spite of my current fight.

And I’m trying my hardest to glue every crack.
